HELPFUL TIPS

Interior Caulk and Grout Maintenance:
Caulk and grout that is regularly exposed to water and cleaning products sometimes needs repair. Proper maintenance of caulk and grout can prevent unexpected water damage and help your bathroom and kitchen look nice and last longer. Remember, even a small problem can become an expensive repair. I suggest you check your caulk and grout lines at least once a year.
Check for gaps or separations in caulked and grouted areas. If repairs are necessary, check with your local hardware store for proper materials and tools. Be sure to choose the right color. Assemble the tools that you will need and create a safe workspace. Scrape away old damaged caulk and follow caulking product manufacturer instructions for proper cleaning, surface preparation, and application.
If you don’t plan to do this yourself, contact a qualified home repair specialist or handyman.

Why should you use All Corners Home Inspections?

The difference between All Corners Home Inspections and other home inspectors is experience and knowledge. Before becoming a home inspector, I have spent several years working in the construction industry as a Director of Field Operations overseeing hundreds of restoration and remodeling projects including restoring homes involved in fires, floods, hurricanes, sinkholes, and mold.

I bring this knowledge to you to help you understand the condition of your new home and suggest ways that not only will help you get any needed repairs done, but also on how to maintain this major investment you are making.

My approach is both professional and comfortable. I know this is a very stressful time for you, and the home inspection shouldn't add to that stress. I will help put you at ease.

This is why you are welcome and encouraged to be present at the inspection so that you can better understand and ask any questions you may have about your purchase.

At the end of the inspection I will give you a tour of your home and also provide you with a complete computer generated report that explains each items. I don't do the "check box" reports you see from other home inspectors. I also include several pictures, as well as a summary of those items in need of immediate service or repair.

You'll also receive some helpful tips on seasonal maintenance, life expectancies, and remodeling costs. And I'll even give you some references to companies I trust to help you in the future.

I want you to walk away from your home inspection feeling you received the best service from me. That's my promise to you.
